The devastation of the earthquake in Haiti has alarmed all of us. The magnitude of the 7.0 quake, the most powerful to hit Haiti in a century, struck shortly before 5 p.m. on January 12 and was centered about 10 miles southwest of Port-au-Prince, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The devastation to Haitian Families has been very great!
Care for the Children, an ABWE resource to help children in trauma around the world, has given $5000 to help a Christian orphanage in Haiti. However, this is only a drop in the bucket compared to the need. There are many Haitian orphans in need right now. Because the number of orphans in Haiti has grown dramatically in the last several weeks, ABWE’s Care for the Children wants to help even more children but we cannot do it without further financial help. If you would be so kind as to consider giving to help orphans in Haiti. 100% of the money you send will get to a Christian orphanage in Haiti that will show the love of Christ.
