Wise Today

Psalms 90:12-17, I John 2:17, John 9:4, Proverbs 27:1, Ephesians 5:15-17, II Corinthians 4:18

It is true that one only lives one day at a time, so it is vitally important that one ask and obey God for directions. Many of the opportunities and challenges of life come only once and therefore one must be alert and obedient to the leading and working of God. Each day comes so quickly and soon it will be gone. Therefore, it is important that we have God’s wisdom and follow His leading into and through each encounter. Our enemy, satan, would like to see believers distracted and deceived so that they are not busy serving the Lord and giving out the Good News of salvation and the joy of the Christian life. So, it is important to know what God desires us to do this day and wisely follow His plan for our lives. Since our God knows all, it is vitally important that the believer waits in His presence through Bible reading and prayer to commit to His will and to be His instrument each day. (Ecclesiastes 5:4-5)

Prayer: Oh Lord, I ask for Your guidance and leading this day that my life is a vessel of honor for Your desire.
