Abundant Life

John 1:4, 6:33, 27, 51, 10:10, 14:6, Colosians 5:4, I Corinthians 15:22, Matthew 5:13-16

It is in Jesus that one can have an abundant life. However, many believers do not like a joyful, rejoicing life. Therefore, unbelievers are often drawn away from the Lord by the words, actions, responses, and behavior of so-called Christians. Rather than a joyful life many followers of Christ are discontent, grumbling, and trouble-causers thus living much less than an abundant life. An anemic, depressed Christian is not a good and true sign of what Christ desires to be demonstrated to a lost and confused world. God desires to do a great and mighty work in each life as they respond in obedience to His word and way. It is wise that one’s life is checked often to see if there is a need for spiritual renewal. The spiritual vitality of a true believer is seen in everyday life. The abundant life in Christ and the great joy of Christ should be demonstrated to our world each day. Probably, the greatest tract one can distribute is the way one lives in obedience to the Lord and His Word.

Prayer: Lord, help me to see my life and how others see You in me.
