Promises

Psalms 19:7-11, 119:15, Isaiah 3:8, I John 2:6, Joshua 22:5, Psalms 1:1-2

One hears many statements as to how a product or device will give wonderful results only to discover that the item does not fulfill all that was promised.  However, God’s promises are always true and He does as He says.  In Psalm 19:7-11 we are reminded that:

• His teachings renew the soul

• His testimonies make one wise

• His instructions make the heart rejoice

• His commands make one see clearly

• The fear of the Lord brings contentment

• The decisions of the Lord are fair… and much more

It is in centering one’s mind, heart, and life in His Word that they find peace, wisdom, guidance, protection, provision, and much more.  It is the wise person that settles in and rests on the promises of God.

Prayer: I praise You Lord for Your promises.  Guide me today to live anchored in Your Word.
