God Sees Everything

Proverbs 5:21, 15:3, Job 34:21, Psalms 33:13, Jeremiah 31:9

It is true that many people act, talk, and respond differently if they know certain people are listening and watching.  It is a needed reminder to all that the Lord sees everything one does and hears all they speak.  Even more than that the Lord knows the heart which houses one’s motives of why they are saying and doing.  It is not that the believer is fearful that God sees and knows all, but it is a great reminder that whatever is said or done is to bring honor to His name and be a blessing to others. So, one cannot hide from God.  Care and obedience to the Word should govern the believer’s attitude, conduct, words, and actions each day.  Since humans are not perfect, our Lord has provided a way to be cleansed and free from sins ( I John 1:9) but the wise believer prays for God’s guidance and wisdom in actions and words as to live in obedience to Him since they know God sees all.

Prayer: Lord, I give myself to You again today.  Guide me to be wise and obedient in all I do or say.
