Trust in God

Proverbs 3:5-6, 30:5, Psalms 28:7, 37:3, 56:4, Jeremiah 17:7-8, Philippians 4:19

It is common to trust people and things even when they have not been proven. A person trusts the chair, car, food, restaurant, and much more. Many people have been trusted only to discover they were not telling the truth and should not have been trusted. Each morning the sun rises and then goes down at night. In the spring the trees and grass turn green and the flowers bloom. So, we can trust God to make things happen and continue. Believers trust God to do all these unbelievable things yet they often spend a great deal of their life and time worrying and lose the joy of today in fear and depression. To trust God more, one should read the Bible and give the burdens to Him. In so doing, trust in God is developed and as was said of the Old Testament hero, “he saw Him who is invisible.”

Prayer: God, strengthen and deepen my faith so I trust in You in all aspects of life.
