Help Others

Galatians 5:13, Proverbs 19:17, Hebrews 13;16, John 15:12-13, Romans 12:13, Philippians 2:3-4

It is so easy to be centered on the needs and problems of life that others are forgotten or ignored. If one was literally walking daily with the Lord, they would soon recognize that He gave Himself to help those in need.  The followers of Christ often become self-centered because:

  • They focus only on self and personal needs

  • They are not reading the Bible for daily nourishment

  • They are consumed with judging and condemning others

  • Their focus is on their needs

Yes, one must work and solve their life challenges and problems. However, helping and investing in others will be a great blessing and may even open the door to solving one’s personal problems as allowing the Holy Spirit to lead is the key to knowing God’s will.  So, become the hand of God’s love to those in need and see what God will do as faithfulness, obedience, and kindness become one’s motivating factors.

Prayer: God, leads and use me today as You see fit to minister to others.
