God Gives

Psalms 25:8, 27:5, II Corinthians 9:8, II Timothy 1:7, John 14:27, Acts 1:8

Many times a person anticipates and even expects certain gifts and is elated at the time of receiving the gifts. Sometimes their smile is a frown when they do not receive the gift that was anticipated. But with God, He knows what His children need and when they need to receive it. It is imperative that the believer rests in:

• The new life that is in Christ

• The peace of God

• The many provisions and blessings of God

• The protection of the Lord

The Psalmist often reminds us that joy comes when we focus and think on all that God is and has done in our life.  Take a few moments now and think about all God has done for and given you and “bless His holy name”.  The gifts of God are many and the soul rejoices to focus on them. There is great blessing in remembering all the Lord has done and sharing this truth with others.
