A Good Influence

Matthew 5:13-16, Ephesians 5:8, Colossians 1:12

It is always helpful to have a light to show the way when one is walking in the dark.  So it is with those who do not know the Lord while journeying through this dark world.  It is when a person accepts Christ as Savior that they:

• Can see and hear differently

• Have a new and discerning mind

• Understand the Bible more clearly

• Have a new evaluation of their time

• Can build up treasures in heaven

And much more. As we go through the days of life we have the opportunities to influence others in a life-changing way.

As the Christian lives, talks, walks, and responds to others, they can become a good influence to the many that see them each day. As one has the opportunity to influence many they in-turn consider and choose to accept Christ as Savior.  Do not ever forget that people are watching you and it is the joy of the believer to see others come to Christ.

Prayer: Oh, Lord guide me this day and fill my mind to do Your will.

Project: List the people you will influence today and how you can impact them for godliness.
