Going in the Right Direction

In the world today people are offered and enticed to follow or do many things that are reported to lead to real life. From various food supplements to exercise equipment people are bombarded with a variety of ways to experience life as they wish. However, we are reminded in the Bible that:

There is only ONE way to be free from sin and have a new life and it is in a personal relationship with Jesus
God’s way of life is in the Bible
Life is not always easy
The Lord walks with and guides His own

And that is just the beginning of what Jesus desires to do in and through the life of His followers. It is essential that one makes a regular check of their life to see if they are going in the right direction. This happens through the reading of God’s Word, examination of their life, and making changes as God leads.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for real life and show me anything in my life that has the potential of drawing me away from Yourself and Your way.
