Stay Connected

Philippians 1:3, Galatians 6:2, Hebrews 13:16, John 15:12, Matthew 5:47

As time slips away and one moves through the journey of life it is easy to become disconnected from the people that have made a great difference in one’s life. Each day, as I look at the picture of my parents in my office and the list of things they taught me, I thank God for His work in my life. Yes, we probably all have people that have made an impact on our life such as:

  • Sunday school teacher

  • Pastor

  • Parents

  • Teacher in school

  • Coach

  • Missionary

  • Youth leader

  • Friend

  • A giver of gifts that impact us, and many more.

The Apostle Paul, in Philippians, reminds us that those who invested in our life are important. Charles Swindoll wrote, “Stay connected with others… the more involved you remain, the less concern you will have how old you are.”

Prayer: God, thank You for the people You have brought into my life and have reminded me of today.

Project: list the people God used in your life that you should connect with and thank today, then do it.
