A Safe Place

Often one looks for a safe place to shelter in times of trouble and storm. This place would be one that provides for the needs, protects, and helps in times of challenge and fear. So it is as the believer anchors thoughtfully in:

God’s Word, the Bible
Prayer, as they bring their needs and requests to God
Waiting on God to bring about His will
Obeying the Lord in all ways…

…that the one who shelters in the care of the Lord is protected, given courage, and can continue on as God leads. So, as the storms of life come one can run safely into the arms of Jesus and rest in His presence and promises. The songwriter penned, “safe in the arms of Jesus” to remind followers of Christ that there is a place to find rest and safety.

Prayer: Oh, Lord, thank You for protecting and providing for me in my storms.

Project: Write 5 verses that help in the time of storms and share them with someone else.
