Making A Difference

Ephesians 2:8-10, Colossians 3:23, Psalms 24:1, Acts 1:8, Isaiah 58:3-11, II Corithians 5:17

Unfortunately, many people just live from day to day and this includes a host of people who call themselves “followers of Christ”. Although we have been warned many times in the Bible not to be like the world (Romans 12:2), many believers live each day seemingly not really concerned about God’s agenda. So, instead of making a spiritual impact on their world they just exist from one day until the next. However, the Bible is clear that the believer is to do “good works” and make a godly impact on their world. It is the joy of the believer to:

  • Share the Good News of salvation with others

  • Demonstrate the love of God in caring for and helping others

  • Live godly to make an impact on their world

  • Shine the light of Christ so others will be drawn to Him

We are reminded in the Word that life is brief and our impact needs to be significant.

Prayer: Lord, open my spiritual eyes to see my world and guide me to be the person You would have me to be today.

Project: Decide who and how to impact and influence my world for God today.
