It Is Okay
Psalms 16:11, 27:8, Exodus 33:14, Psalms 145:18, Matthew 5:8
Each day we are faced with challenges, problems, and situations that had not even been in our thinking. It’s like the book I purchased recently entitled, I Didn’t See That Coming… So it is with a great deal of the encounters that loom up in our pathway each day. For it is often these situations and things that cause worry, anxiety, fear, and frustration. We must remember as Ray Prichard wrote, “in every situation of life, God is already at work before I get there. He is working creatively, strategically, and redemptively for my good and His glory.” This is a lesson that must be experienced many times and is difficult to practice. It is a must that the followers of Christ read and meditate on the Bible to give light in the dark times of challenging situations as one grows in faith and trust. It is in the perplexities of life that the mind and heart are directed to God and He gives “peace” that is impossible to define as well as victory in the everyday walk. So, no matter what one is faced with, it “is ok” since God directs and sustains.
Prayer: Thank You Lord for the lessons of life and the peace that You give in Your presence.
Project: List the key situations you are anxious and worried about and the lessons that God is teaching you in these things.
