Get Ready

Romans 12:1-2, Matthew 22:34-40, Colossians 3:1-3, Ephesians 6:10-18

Unfortunately, many followers of Christ do not prepare and plan for each day.  Many feel that going to church a little, reading a few verses, and a short prayer are all that is necessary to live a life of victory and freedom.  However, the believer must remember that:

• We live in a world bent on evil ways and thinking

• The mind is bombarded each day with pictures and thoughts that are opposed to what God would have one think about.

• One’s heart can easily be pulled into sins such as bitterness, resentment, anger, jealousy, etc.

• In an evil world, it is imperative that one guard against practicing sins

The believer must be careful to, each day, prepare and plan to be victorious in the Lord and His Word.  So, to make sure you are ready, write out your strategy to live in victory and freedom today so that you can be a good ambassador of the Lord and a light in your world.
