Unless
Psalms 127:1, 27:13, Acts 20:24, Proverbs 3:5-6, James 2:17
As the days seem to fly by it is easy to get caught up in the mountain of details and challenges of one’s life and God’s truths are set aside. So, it is as has been said, “unless God remains at the center of your efforts, you labor in vain.” So often the cares of this world choke out the Word of God and one begins to function in their own ideas and plans rather than trusting the Lord. God is left out and the truths of the Bible are set aside. It is imperative that the believer is careful to:
Put God at the center of their life
Read and review the promises of God often
Trust in God even when they do not see evidence of His workings
Respond as He leads in honor to Him.
Many plans are often suggested, but obedience to the Word of God is of critical importance. One must remember as recorded in Isaiah 55:8-9 that God is “the same yesterday, today and forever.”
Prayer: thank You Lord for the stability You are to me and I ask for Your wisdom in all my ways.
Project: Write down areas on your mind where You must be sure God is first and at the center.
