Each day one’s time is given to a number of things including eating, working, fun and games, relaxation, etc. However, the follower of Christ needs to regularly invest their time if memorizing the Bible. It is as one saturates their mind with the Word of God that one gets to know God better and understand His wisdom and ways. It has been proven over and over that the verses one memorized as a child has stayed in the mind and for remembrance many times. The Bible is unique and meets one’s needs and then is quoted many times during the journey of life. Therefore, one should set aside and invest time to memorize the Bible. It has been suggested that writing the verse many times and reviewing it often is a great tool to help one memorize the Word. Also, a friend could listen and check the verse(s) as they are quoted for accuracy. Whatever helps to memorize the Bible would be advantageous by bringing great blessings and benefits.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the Bible and guide me to invest time reading, studying, and memorizing Your word on a regular basis.
