Psalms 75:71-72, I Timothy 4:8, II Timothy 3:17, Titus 2:12, Joshua 1:8

Each day God leads or allows His children into various encounters in order to teach the lessons of spiritual growth and depth that are needed at the time. God had David care for sheep and learn His ways and tolls for many years before He brought David to lead the children of Israel. God is using the present situation for training, strengthening, and guidance for the future. Some things to consider are:

• What is God showing me now?

• What changes are needed?

• What lessons should be learned?

• Why is God allowing me to be in this situation?

Carefully list the lessons God is teaching now and see His wisdom to deal with each one (James 1:5). A thankful and obedient heart (inner person) is what God desires (Matthew 6:33).

Prayer: God, open my spiritual eyes to see clearly and respond in obedience to the lessons You have for me now and give me the strength and wisdom to do Your will.
