Choices Matter
Matthew 7:13-14, Proverbs 3:5-6, 14:12, l9:21, Philippians 4:8, Joshua 1:8, James 1:5
Each day a person invests much of their time making choices whether it be clothes, food, road, friends, words, responses, or whatever. One must be careful because each choice has a consequence or result. For instance, a person could choose to eat a dozen donuts each day and they may taste good at the time, in a few days, the consequence or results will soon be noticed. We are reminded in the Word that God is concerned about everything His children do so it is good to pray for His wisdom concerning everything we do. Yes, we have many choices daily, and we are often reminded that these daily choices matter. Just think about such Bible personalities as David, Aaron, Achan, Demas, and Peter (to name a few) who made choices where the results were not considered. So, as followers of Christ, we must be careful as we live and make each choice in “the fear of God” being obedient to the Word in all aspects of life.
Prayer: Lord, fill my mind today with Your wisdom so my choices are pleasing to You and obedient to Your Word.
