Wisdom Begins Here

Proverbs 1:7,2:1-5, 9:10, Matthew 10:25, Job 28:28, Exodus 20:20

There are many books, plans, and ideas on how to get real wisdom today as many in the world tun to find wisdom and relief. However, most of the plans offered leave out the Lord, and people seek what they need in earthly things which are only temporary at best. The Bible clearly teaches that it is “the fear of the Lord” where wisdom begins and ends. It is not that one should ignore ideas and plans but they must be anchored in the Word of God. When people are told to “fear the Lord” it does not mean that one has a terror of the Lord but respects, honors, reads, and obeys the Bible. It is those who bow before the Lord and believe that He is the creator, sustainer, and savior of the world that fear Him and live according to the Bible. It is only as one heeds the Word of God and accepts the Lord as Savior that they really live in the “fear of God.”

Prayer: thank You Lord for opening the way for me to know You and to have Your wisdom in all things.
