Take Your Time

Proverbs 26:4, 6, 12, 25, Psalms 119:9-11, James 1:19

Many times in the Bible we are challenged with teachings and warnings about acting or talking before we have all the needed details. Many a person have been regretful of their actions carried on before they had all the information as people have been hurt, embarrassed, and driven away due to the “hasty” words or actions. It is not that one should sit idly by and watch when they should have been active, but it is extremely important to get the details. During this time, one has time to pray for wisdom, check their own life for sin, heed the leading of the Holy Spirit, and be a tool in the hand of God to say and do His will in helping and solving problems. A trap of the enemy is to get a believer to act or speak hastily knowing they will probably bring damage to the situation.

Prayer: Lord, show me and lead me to do Your will and to know Your wisdom so that I would be a help to others and bring honor to Your name.
