Be On Guard
Psalms 64:7, Genesis 8:1, I Samuel 23:14, Psalms 73:26, Acts 2:24, Romans 5:8
Throughout life’s journey, one is often faced with challenges, troubles, and situations where they just do not know what to do. “But God” intervened and gave directions and supplies. The believer must never forget that they know and serve the living, eternal, all-knowing God who is far beyond human ways or thinking. We must remember that He:
Created the world
Created mankind
Sustains the world
Knows and sees all
Supplies strength and wisdom
Gives grace and peace
As the Psalmist wrote on many occasions, despair and discouragement in human ways lead the obedient servant of the Lord to remember all that God has done and will do. Many are times in life when the followers of Christ come to the end of themselves, “but God” does what only He can and will do in His time.
Prayer: Lord, open the eyes of my soul to remember, trust and obey You at all times.
