What Makes You Happy

People today try and do various things to find happiness and peace in this world only to find out that it does not last long and it is only temporary. It is only in the Lord and being obedient to His ways that one finds true happiness and peace. It is not ease or comfort but grace and strength. Humans take pills and even go to vast extremes but cannot experience the grace and strength that God provides. It is on the pathway of life that God does what only He can do as the obedient servant finds pleasure in His ways. Dr. Tony Evans, in his book Detours, reminds the reader to not become a victim in the circumstances for God has a plan and a way. It is when the enemy can remove the consideration of all that God desires to do in and through life that daily life is a tedious event and not a trusting journey.

Prayer: Lord, guide me to always see Your hand at work in my life.
