Sharing

Proverbs 3:27, II Corinthians 9:6-8, Acts 20:35, Hebrews 13:16, Proverbs 19:17, James 1:27

We must be careful not to get caught in the ways of this world and ignore the opportunities to share and help others. The worldly idea is to get all one can get and keep it for self. In the Bible, many times the followers of God are instructed to help and give to others. By God’s power and grace, the believers are to:

  • Be willing to share with those in need

  • Respond to needs

  • Not be selfish and covetousness

  • Not judge others

  • Be God’s representatives

  • Honor the Lord in all things

It is a great blessing to share with one in need. Often by sharing, the gift opens the person’s heart door to receive the Lord as their personal Savior. If one does not know someone in need today the Holy Spirit will open their eyes to the needs near and even around the world.

Prayer: Lord I thank You for all the gifts you have given to me. Open my spiritual eyes to see where You desire me to share with others and be Your representative.
