The Key

Matthew 5:13-16, Mark 16:1, Ephesians 2:8-10, Luke 12:33-34

It is a great joy to be a useable vessel in God’s hands. As His instrument one can encourage others, show them the way to real life in Christ, be a friend to the lonely, provide needs for the poor, and much more. The great key is to obey the leading of God and reach out to others as He directs. It is so easy to be engulfed in one’s own situation that the cries of others are not heard. Therefore, to open one’s spiritual eyes and allow God to change the heart and open the door to the refreshing joy that cannot be described… one must listen and obey the Lord. As people look desperately for the key to real life it is only to be found in a personal relationship with Christ and obedience to the Word of God in all ways. The joy of the Lord is seen by others as believers obey and do the will of Christ and impact people in a variety of ways.

Prayer: Lord, open my spiritual eyes to see and guide me in all I do this day.

Project: Make a list of people and ways to demonstrate the will of God in and through life today.
