Be a Great Influence

II Corinthians 5:17, James 1:22, John 3:16, Matthew 5:13, 28:19

People are watching and listening to each other all the time and especially to the people that call themselves Christians.  Others are careful to take notice of:

  • How a believer talks

  • How the Christian responds

  • The places a Christian goes

  • What does the believer call pleasure

  • What the believer is reading and viewing

It is scriptural that one does not have a personal relationship with Christ by the things they do and say. However, it is biblical that there is to be a difference in how one conducts their life If they do know the Lord and follow the Bible.  The scriptures often remind believers that they are to be examples and demonstrations of the change the Lord had done in their life. It is a sad fact that people are turned away from the Lord by the words and actions of people that call themselves believers.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your presence and power in my life and I ask that You would work in my life today so that everyone I come into contact with will know that I am Your child and that You want to change them as well.
