Behaving Biblically Today
I Corinthians 3:1-15, I John 2:6, I Peter 2:21, John 14:26, II Corinthians 2:14
One of the signs that believers are not behaving correctly is seen in disunity and disharmony. When a person does not respond correctly to others and begins looking at the events of life from a human perspective, wrong behavior is often demonstrated. This is when people criticize, condemn, find faults and speak harsh words to others and problems then multiply. It is of utmost importance that believers do not behave like unbelievers since they have been changed by the power and presence of Christ. Another passage that reminds us of this area is Matthew 7:1-5 in which one is reminded not to judge or find faults in others, but rather be concerned about their own faults. Many times ministries are limited due to the words and actions of so-called followers of Christ. It is vitally important that believers behave Biblically.
Prayer: Lord, show me areas of my life that need to be adjusted to Your word.
