Sing in Your Heart

Psalms 59:16, 68:4-5, Colossians 3:16, Acts 16:25, Philippians 4:7, Romans 8:28-39

Sometimes a person is asked, “if they got up on the wrong side of the bed?”  This question indicates that a bad attitude is being evidenced in words, responses, or in some form of negativity and complaining.  We are reminded in Philippians 2:14-16 not to be murmuring and to have a bad attitude.  However, many days, various parts of the body hurt or the day has many potential problems.

So if one is not diligent to:

  • Count their blessings

  • Praise the Lord

  • Sing in their heart

  • Give all their burdens to the Lord

  • Reach out to help others

  • Be a good steward

  • Seek to be a blessing to others

These are just a few ways one can set their heart, mind, and life in the direction that would please and honor the Lord.

Prayer: Lord, have my spirit to see Your goodness in my life. May my words, attitudes, and conduct bring You honor and bless others.
