Choices Today Are Important

Each day all the choices and decisions a person makes are vitally important. The most important decision is choosing to live today trusting and obeying the Lord and being joyful in His ways and presence. Yes, everyone must face their problems and challenges but they must be careful not to live the day “under the circumstances”. When a person is focused on the adversities of life they soon become negative, critical, and unhappy which is not the way a believer is to live. So, one’s choice to be happy in the Lord is vitally important as others are watching how they respond to life situations, and it is the believer’s responsibility to be joyful in the Lord. How the believer lives, speaks, behaves, and conducts their life is vitally important because we only have today as far as we know. So, being careful about choices and how we conduct our lives is critically important. The Apostle Paul wrote in Act 20:24, how he wanted to finish his life and it is based on choices.

Prayer: Lord, guide me today to be careful in all my choices.
