Living For Him
Romans 5:1-5, John 16:33, Psalms 4:7, John 15:11, Psalms 16:11, Galatians 5:22-23, II Corinthians 5:17
One great way to be a testimony and light of God’s grace, mercy, and strength is the way one speaks and conducts their behavior each day. Yes, all will have challenges, problems, hurts, and pain, but God's presence and power make a difference in one’s life each day. This joy, grace, presence, and power of God works through the children of God and makes them a “real” light in this dark world. It is as one lives in ”their world” for the glory of God that draws people to Christ as they see Him demonstrated in the life and conduct of His children. It is vitally important that believers live “godly and righteously in this present world” for the glory of God and to attract others to the Love of God in Christ Jesus (Matthew 5:13-16). So, it is by God’s power and obedience to His Word today that the joy of the believer makes an impact on others.
Prayer: Lord, guide me in all my interactions with others today so that I may glorify You and bless them.
