It Pays

Sometimes a person is challenged to do certain things and receive a reward for completing them.  So it is when a person believes, obeys, and follows the Word and way of God.  God sees and knows all that one does and He blesses the life of obedience. This does not mean that one will have a great abundance of money, possessions, or the like. However, it does mean that God does care for His own and blesses them in many unusual ways.  The follower of Christ finds themselves with many blessings they never imagined as God works and moves to bring people and events into their life of a supernatural nature. Stop now, and make a list of the people, events, and circumstances that God has used to bless your life. Joseph, in the Old Testament, is a great illustration of how God worked over a period of years to bring Joseph to a place of blessing and influence.  So, God is working and moving in the life of His children today.

Prayer: God, lift the eyes of my soul to see and trust Your work and moving in my life.
