Off to a Good Start

James 5:16, I Timothy 2:1, Ephesians 7:18, Philippians 4:6, John 14:13

Each day we interact with many people in a variety of ways. However, one of the great blessings the followers of Christ have is they can be involved in the lives of others around the world as they pray for them.  It is a great joy to pray for (to name a few):

• Missionaries

• Christians in other countries

• Pastors

• Missionary organization leaders

• Fellow believers in need

By God’s power and grace, the believer has a great joy to invest in others as they pray; asking God to care for them and do miracles on their behalf.  Think now of at least ten people you could pray for that are not on your daily prayer list and pray for their safety, provision, direction, wisdom, etc. What a great joy to share in the lives of others by praying for them.

Prayer: Lord, I do praise You for the many blessings I have today and now I bring you these people.
