Do Right Today

Proverbs 18:32, 25:28, II Timothy 1:7, Galatians 5:22-23, James 1:19, Titus 2:11-12

Each day one makes many choices and decisions that make a great difference in the outcome of the day and even one’s life.  It is vitally important that time is invested daily in the Bible and waiting before the Lord before one “opens the door” to a new day and is confronted with people and events where they need divine wisdom and leading.  The heart, mind, and life need to be drawn into understanding the Bible and how to live it out each day.  Often in scripture, the followers of Christ are reminded to “seek out righteousness” and be obedient to the Bible. Even though one is faced with unexpected challenges, one must obey and respond according to God’s Word to do right. Many live in regret because they did not choose to do right when making a decision or choice.

Prayer: Lord, help me remember Your Word as I travel my journey of life today. Help me to choose and decide to do Your will and be a blessing to others.
