Get Going
Proverbs 25:32, I Corinthians 9:24-27, I Thessalonians 5:6, II Timothy 1:7, Philippians 4:13
Every day brings new challenges and opportunities. Therefore, one must begin in the “joy of the Lord” committed to making a difference in the world. Each believer has a place and a responsibility in “their” world, so each day they should commit to doing God’s will. Many believers, unfortunately, wait for someone else to move, speak or behave instead of being faithful to God and as it has been said, “brighten the corner where you are”. So, being committed and faithful to God the believer should trust Him and:
Speak a good word
Lend a helping hand
Be kind to everyone
Do right in all situations in obedience to the Bible
Stop now and determine how you can be God’s instrument today and as John Mason has said, “Never start the day in neutral”. Determine God’s plan for today and get going.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for all You have done for me and given to me, help me to see how I can be used for Your impact on others today.
Project: List how you will be God’s influence today.
