Difficult Times

II Corinthians 4:1-18, Romans 8:28-39, Acts 16:25, Judges 7:4-14

Difficulties are present in each life, and if one is not careful, they focus on the problems rather than on what God is doing in their life. Unfortunately, many have been drawn away from following the Lord and they have centered on the challenges and troubles they are facing. Yes, everyone has challenges, problems, and difficulties as most of life is uphill and exhausting. For these reasons the believer must:

• Invest time each day reading the Bible

• Pray earnestly

• Mediate in and on the Word

• Memorize Scripture

• Share blessings with others

In times of difficulty, the followers of Christ must anchor their thoughts in the Word and invest in others as obedient ambassadors of the Lord.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for Your Word, the lessons I am learning, and the many opportunities to invest in others.
