Planting Seeds

I Corinthians 3:6, Galatians 6:7-9, Psalms 12:8, James 5:7, II Corinthians 9:6

Just as the farmer does not expect to harvest the crop unless he plants the seed, so one must plant seeds each day and leave the harvest to the Lord.  It is the joy and responsibility of each believer to plant seeds each day of:

  • Biblical truth

  • Kindness

  • Words of encouragement

  • Truth and honesty

  • Peace

  • Joy

  • Happiness…

…and much more.  The farmer who wants a large crop plants many seeds; this fact is true also in daily life as one plants seeds as God directs.  Also, the farmer does not expect to harvest the crop the following day after planting the seeds. So, one must be faithful to God and obedient to His leading in planting the right seeds (spiritual) as He directs and leads.

I will obey the Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit to plant Biblical seeds today and trust God for the harvest.
