Invest Time Each Day
Psalms 119:164-165, Psalms 28:7, Psalms 63:3-4, Isaiah 12:4, 25:1, Psalms 145:3, 150:6, Acts 16:25
The list of things one must do continues to get longer each day, and the duties of life seem to get greater and more demanding. However, in the one list of priorities, it is vitally important that one does not forget to praise and thank God. The Psalmist in Psalms 119:164 reminds the reader that it is good to direct their attention to the blessings of God throughout the day. One’s attention could be centered on the Lord’s blessings seven times. Of course, it could be more but it is good to disciple oneself to stop for a few moments each day and focus attention and praise to the Lord. In fact, it would be good now to divide the days so that there is praise and prayer seven times today. It is not that one should only praise the Lord seven times, but this is a great start. So, have a great day and stop seven times today to praise and thank the Lord.
My declaration: I will divide my day to stop seven times and praise the Lord for His work in and through my life.
