Lessons in Life
Proverbs 3:5-6, Luke 1:37, II Corinthians 4:7, Romans 8:28
Each day we are faced with various opportunities and challenges in which we need to learn new lessons and be reminded of all that God has done for us in the past. Often in Psalms, David wrote about the blessings, deliverances, protection, and provisions of God to refresh his soul and lead us to see the power of God. Yes, adversities and problems will come into one’s life, but in these there are lessons for our learning such as:
How we are to speak
What one is to say when they speak
How a believer should respond
God does miracles
God has promised never to leave us
These are only a very few of the lessons that come through troubles. It is much more productive to focus on the lessons and what we should do rather than on the problems that God is allowing to get our attention so we can move on to the next phase of the Christian life.
Prayer: Thank You Lord for working in and on my life and for each lesson that You are teaching me.
Project: List the lessons God is bringing to your attention now and how you are dealing with them.
