Lessons
II Corinthians 4: 1-7, II Corinthians 5:17, Proverbs 1:7, Luke 15:11-32
Many times one goes through problems and difficulties but does not learn the lessons God is moving to teach them. Therefore, instead of learning and growing, they become angry and stagnant. One can learn from Bible personalities such as:
Joseph: learned the lesson to stay faithful and obedient even when the way is dark.
Daniel: learned the importance of establishing prayer in his daily life.
Noah: learned to live by faith in God no matter what others said.
Moses: learned to stay tuned to God in the face of criticism.
Paul: learned that life is hard, but faithfulness is the key.
Stephen: learned that people dislike you but forgiveness is the key.
So, there are many lessons we are to learn on our journey of life and one is often prompted by the lessons of Bible personalities. So, the believer must trust and obey God because every choice has a consequence and many other lessons. It is vitally important that the follower of Christ chooses to wait before God and learn the many lessons that He desires us to know.
Prayer: Lord, open my spiritual eyes to see what You want me to learn this day.
Project: List the lessons God is moving to teach you now and how you plan to take the next step in learning.
