Did You Check

People check a great variety of gauges, meters, records, and the like each day. However, the mind is often left unchecked. Therefore, the thoughts that one holds in their head affect life as habits and conduct are directed by the mind each day. This is why the Bible continually warns against harboring wrong and evil thoughts in the mind. The mind is easily corrupted by the pollution of this evil and ungodly world. Therefore, this requires diligent care each day as Satan seeks to see the believer trapped in wrong thoughts and ungodly living. It is imperative that one checks and clears their mind often of:

• Impurity

• Bitterness

• Jealousy

• Anger

• Unforgiveness…

…and other wrong and evil thoughts as the Holy Spirit reveals and reminds the believer. As the follower of Christ obeys the Word, they are free from the bondage of sin and live in honor of the Lord.
