I Peter 2:21, I John 2:6, II Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 5:1-2, 4:22, Romans 12:1-2

Believers are to be representatives and ambassadors of Christ in this lost and lonely world. It is the joy of the followers of the Lord to live in such a way each day that others are drawn to Him. In order to attract others to the work of Christ in one’s life they need to:

  • Forgive and not be bitter

  • Have happiness in the Lord

  • Speak words of kindness

  • Be gentle

  • Reach out and help others in need

  • Be willing to serve and be fruitful wherever God places them

  • Be thankful and rejoice in the Lord

It is as one is like Jesus and “abides in His Word” that they become a useable instrument in God’s hand to impact others. In a fearful day, it is a great blessing to show others trust, confidence, peace, and forgiveness in the Lord.

Prayer: Lord, guide me this day that I would be a living sacrifice and direct others to Your freedom and peace.
