Today I Will Sing
Psalms 9:1-2, 59:16, Colossians 3:16, Zephaniah 3:17, Acts 16:25, Philippians 4:7
Many people give up their time each day to grumbling, murmurring, complaining, and creating problems. Instead of “rejoicing in the Lord” and His blessings they are consumed with their problems, challenges and troubles. Well, yes, we all have problems, but it is where one chooses to focus their mind and heart that makes the difference. As we reflect on the blessings and ways of God, rejoicing comes to life as the soul is refreshed to know of God’s presence, power, grace, and love bestowed on those who focus on our Lord and His word. Whether they sing out loud or quietly to themselves, their rejoicing is seen and heard in the way they live as they walk this journey of life each day. The believer that “sings” in the heart to God is a great demonstration of His love and grace as others see and are drawn to the Lord (Matthew 5:13-16).
Prayer: Lord, I priase and sing to You for all that You have done for me.
Project: Check your life today for rejoicing or complaining.
