Colossians 3:1-11, II Corinthians 5:17, Matthew 5:13-16

One can generally tell who a person represents by the way they are dressed. The uniform, words, and conduct usually indicate a lot about the person. So, the believer should be:

  • Kind

  • Merciful

  • Gracious

  • Giving

  • Peaceful

  • Humble

  • Patient

  • Loving and more

The believer is to demonstrate the character of Christ being formed in their life each day. It is good for one to examine their conduct regularly and make adjustments needed in words, actions, and behavior. The Lord does not expect perfection but the believer is expected to be different as they obey the Holy Spirit’s leading and the Bible. Therefore, people can see the difference in a believer and be drawn to accept Christ and allow Him to change their life.

Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom, power, courage, and strength to be Your representative in my world today so people will be drawn to You as they see what You are doing in my life.

Project: List specific ways you could live today to show others the work and love of Christ in your life.
