It makes a great difference in how one responds to what others say and do, as well as the circumstances that take place each day. As a believer and follower of Christ, it is the believer’s joy to respond and speak to others, as the Lord would do, in compassion, concern, kindness, and sensitivity. It is true that one probably will not have the same opportunity to impact the same people in the same way. Therefore, it is vitally important that love and the presence of Christ are seen in the believer’s conduct. In a day and time when it seems that many do not care for or help others, it is the joy of a Christian to be God’s hand of mercy and grace to those in need.
Prayer: Lord, fill me today with Your presence and mercy that I may be used as Your mouthpiece to people in need.
