His Greatness
Psalms 89:1, 104:33-34, l32:9, Isaiah 42:10, Acts 16:25, Colossians 3:16
Often happiness and joy are detected as we hear a person singing, humming, or whispering. These outward signs are an indication of the joy, freedom, and contentment in one’s heart and life. All of the problems of life have not vanished but joy is found in trusting the Lord and living in obedience to the Bible. It is only in the presence of God and obeying His Word that there is joy and happiness even in the darkness of life (Nehemiah 8:10). Sadly, many are trying to find joy, hope, happiness, and blessings in the pleasures of this world only to discover that they bring only temporary satisfaction. A genuine believer finds joy as they saturate their mind and life with the Word and apply it to their life. Real joy permeates the inner person when one focuses on the presence and power of God.
Prayer: Lord, guide me to know Your power and presence to proclaim to my world that real joy is only in You.
