Stuck in a Rut

John 5:5-7, Deuteronomy 5:33, Joshua 3:13, John 15:16, Romans 12:2, Isaiah 40:31

Many believers are stuck in the rut of what they call “normal living.”  However, one must open their eyes and see that God’s ways and His working is beyond the normal ways of mankind.  God is the God of miracles and works in ways that the human mind can’t fully understand.

God:

• Heals the sick

• Parts waters

• Meets needs of the poor

• Gives strength

• Gives courage

• Floods one’s life with grace

• Works and moves in unknown ways

• Gives direction

• Gives wisdom…

Often a believer is stuck in the rut of the ways of life, forgetting they know and serve the living, eternal, all-powerful God. By believing in God, one can get out of the rut.

Prayer: Lord, forgive me for being stuck and staying in the rut of normal living and open the eyes of my soul to know and see Your will and follow Your leading.
