Today Does Matter

Proverbs 3:1-6, Galatians 2:10, Ephesians 4:29, Romans 12:1-2, Colossians 3:12-17, Matthew 6:33

It really does make a difference what a person does, says, and thinks each day. For every believer will give an account of their life and conduct (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14). So, today is important for believers should do their best to make each day a masterpiece because:

  • We are God’s representatives

  • We will give an account for all of life

  • We are being watched by others

  • We have the joy and responsibility of influencing others

So, it really does matter what one does and says each day. God has a responsibility or job for each of His children and every day is a part of His plan. Just think about the things that are before you today and “putting your hand to the plow” do not turn back (Luke 9:62). Yes, there may be challenges, problems, and obstacles but God will sustain His own through all encounters.

Prayer: Lord, show me Your presence and power today and use me as You can do.

Project: List the ways you can be wise and serve the Lord today.
