God Hears

Often in the hour of severe, distress and pressure, it is easy to sink into despair and depression.  In the season of life when friends seem to have gone, the path is difficult, and few appear to care…God hears the cries of His children.  He gives, in His miraculous ways:

  • Strength (Isa. 40:31)

  • Courage (Deut. 31:8)

  • Grace (II Cor. 12:9)

  • Wisdom (II Chron. 1:7-12)

  • Peace (Phil. 4:7) 

And much more is given to the believer who, as the song writer reminds us, “trust and obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.” In the darkness of our life journey, Jesus is the light to all who follow and obey Him.  

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for being the light for me today.
