Faithfulness Counts

Matthew 25:14-30, I Corinthians 4:2

Faithfulness is a great key to a life that counts. Often our response to the needs of others, the church, or an opportunity to make a difference is based on our desires at the moment. In Matthew 25 we are reminded that being a faithful steward of our time, resources, and the blessings of God are vitally important. We need to remember that “every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17

A good question to consider is what are you doing with what you have? Often people look for places in life to make a “big splash” and miss the daily matters of faithfulness to the Lord and His Word.

“We need to grow in our relationship with Him and begin to view all aspects of life through the lens of His glory.” Jerry Bridges
