Security

Psalms 39:7, 147:11, Jeremiah 29:11, II Corinthians 4:18, Romans 12:12, 15:4

People are offered many things and people that they can place their trust and hope in today.  However, many times they soon discover that hope and trust in the things and people of this world are only temporary.  Many people today are running from place to place, person to person, and from one experience to another in order to find hope. However, one soon realizes that hope placed in anyone but the Lord soon ends and brings sorrow. The believer is often reminded in the Word:

• To trust in the Lord (Prov. 3:5-6)

• That hope is in the Lord (Ps. 39:7)

• That God is eternal (Deut. 33:27)

• That God sees and knows all things (Prov. 15:3)

• That God has prepared a place for those who love, obey and follow Him (Jn. 14:3)

So, we must carefully place our hope and trust in the Lord.
